The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible to attract, engage and hire top talent & provide a best-in-class experience to both candidates and hiring managers. 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Hiring Managers in providing end-to-end recruitment support including but not limited to:
    • posting job openings
    • interviewing and screening candidates
    • reporting on recruitment activity
    • attending recruitment events and job fairs
    • proactively sourcing
    • engaging passive talent
    • conducting reference checks
  • Assess recruiting needs, determine level of urgency and develop customized sourcing strategies
  • Provide guidance and consultation to hiring managers to determine best practice recruitment solutions and market trends
  • Champion the student hiring program for interns and apprentices
  • Effectively utilize available software tools to manage recruitment activity
  • Offer a proactive sourcing approach that is designed to build candidate pipelines and manage a just in time service delivery model that matches recruitment needs
  • Build referral networks and candidate pools through networking, social media and external networking sources
  • Demonstrate a keen interest to continuously improve current processes and participate in ongoing talent acquisition projects

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years' experience in full-cycle recruitment (experience with recruitment of engineering talent)
  • Experience in technical, engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or a relevant field
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service orientation/attitude
  • Strong written, presentation/verbal, and negotiation skills
  • Experience using recruitment sources, tools and social media platforms
  • Experience coordinating and attending career fairs and other professional networking events
  • Demonstrates sensitivity and discretion when dealing with confidential information
  • Demonstrates ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Demonstrates ability to be professional, calm, flexible, resilient, solution oriented, and creative
