KML Windows Inc., a division of Andersen Corporation, is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator I, whose job is to assist in all Human Resources functions with a focus on Benefit Administration including the Return-To-Work Program. The Human Resources Coordinator multitasks through participation in: recruitment and onboarding; employee relations; HRIS; metrics; benefit and return to work processes; administration; and organizing work and event activities for the company. The Coordinator reports directly to the Human Resources Manager.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administer the Benefit Program and lead the Return-To-Work Program; key contact for benefit inquiries.
  • Be visible and accessible to all associates, providing policy clarification, answering routine HR-related inquiries (payroll, timekeeping, benefits, etc.), refers complex matters to management and/or HR Business Partner.
  • Lead small continuous improvement projects and conduct research, analysis and reporting in addition to daily tasks.
  • Maintain/Input associate information into HRIS, run reports as needed.
  • Maintain and audit files/trackers/databases (KPI, Discipline, Attendance, Performance Review, Employee Relations)
  • Assist in recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Participate in employee relation investigations/meetings, provide guidance and support to leaders/associates; prepare appropriate action/follow-up documentation as required
  • Lead the Performance Review process with the Supervisors
  • Coordinate leadership training, and plant or department events/meetings 
  • Plan and coordinate special events for the division
  • Participate in community partnership events and activities
  • Follow-up with absences regarding COVID-19 protocols, intake and guidelines, etc.
  • Maintain personnel files in compliance with records retention policy and applicable legal requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Human Resources diploma or degree from a College or University is required
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a progressive HR support role
  • Highly motivated with the ability to pro-actively provide support
  • Capable of independently managing multiple tasks/ projects in a professional, efficient manner
  • Excellent customer service and follow-through skills
  • Outstanding computer skills (MS Office applications)
  • Experience with PeopleSoft and Kronos applications
  • Skilled at sorting and organizing information to develop informative and clear communications
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement and strict confidentiality standards
