Human Resources Specialist (Temporary, Full-time)
Duration: Approximately 12 to 18 months
Location: Peterborough, ON (Hybrid Work Arrangement)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Rate of Pay: Dependent on experience
As a Human Resources Specialist, you will be:
- Specializing in the internal and external full cycle recruitment and selection process
- Providing human resources related assistance to both managers and employees in the branches and at head office
- Assisting with the development and maintenance of human resource related policies and procedures
- Conducting and reporting on retention and exit interviews
- Responsible for maintaining Kawartha’s positive public reputation and brand
- Demonstrate Kawartha's values
- Working with a Human Resources Information System
Qualifications Required:
- Post-secondary education with emphasis in Human Resource Management
- Three years experience in recruitment and selection
- Completion of the Certified Human Resources Professional designation and working towards Certified Human Resources Leader designation
- Must be able to keep strict confidentiality
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Good knowledge in Microsoft Office products
- Occasional travel may be required
