Summary of Duties
Reporting to the Manager, Labour Relations, the Coordinator, Labour Relations, coordinates and executes a broad range of supportive labour relations functions, including developing, implementing and maintaining effective systems for managing documents and records; completing research and analyses in support of policy development, bargaining and grievance responses; and providing data analytics and related reports to inform planning, decision making and continuous improvement practices.
Qualifications/Experience
- University degree in Human Resources Administration, or Industrial Relations or a related field or an equivalent combination of educational, professional and lived community experience.
- Up to three years of experience in labour relations supporting grievance, arbitration and collective bargaining processes.
- Designation as a Certified Human Resources Professional or Leader (CHRP/CHRL) is an asset.
- Experience working in union environment and demonstrated knowledge of union procedures.
Compensation and Other Information
$65,318 to $85,010
This is a permanent, full-time position.
