Position Purpose

 

Responsible for overseeing and providing support in all aspects of the full life cycle recruitment and selection process within the Town.  This will include overseeing, coordinating and supporting on a broad range of recruitment and selection processes for the Town such as preparing internal and external job postings, conducting applicant screening, creating interview questions and scoring formats; supporting and participating in interviews, developing and administering applicant testing procedures, and conducting reference checks.  This position will ensure that all services and supports provided meet the Town customer service standards while also working collaboratively with the broader HR team.  The HR and Recruitment Associate will also provide a broad range of human resources related support.

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

Diploma in Human Resource Management or other relevant discipline from an accredited College/University or related discipline or approved equivalent combination of education and experience; Human Resource’s designation (CHRP/CHRL); minimum 3 years’ experience in Human Resources and recruitment, including experience in a unionized work environment.
