The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for providing a wide range of strategic and operational HR generalist support. The incumbent will contribute and play a key role in workforce planning as part of the strategic planning process and in supporting the development of strategies to meet current and future human resources and operational requirements. As the first contact for HR related issues, the HRBP provides support on a range of HR functions including recruitment, job evaluation, employee relations support, legislative, policy and collective agreement compliance advice, performance management, health and safety and accommodations. The HRBP supports the vision, mission, values, and strategic direction of the University, and contributes to a positive and client-focused team environment of high performance, respect, trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The HRBP is a champion of the University's priorities of equity, diversity, inclusion, sustainability, and student success
To be considered for this opportunity, you will bring the following:
- Post-secondary degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Completed Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) designation. Minimum 5 years of related experience.
