We have an amazing opportunity for a Senior Manager for the Centre of Conflict Resolution and Ethics at CFMWS! This leadership role is offering a blank canvass to shape our programs and policies that affect the workplace culture. What is to be done? Manage, plan, organize and deliver the programs and initiatives that fall under formal human rights, harassment and workplace violence prevention, disclosures of wrongdoing, ethics, conflict coaching, and workplace restoration. It is an active role where your coaching skills will be needed to help our clients move through conflicts and at the same time use your organization and leadership skills to define our programs and policies. QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
Bachelor’s degree in, Sociology, Human Resources, Psychology or a related field AND several years of experience in conflict/complaint resolution or a related field
AND
Conflict Management certificate
Qualified Mediator designation, an asset
Experience
- In developing programs related to conflict resolution, coaching and restoration
- In alternative dispute resolution techniques
- In conducting workplace assessments, group processes and providing coaching
- In reviewing legislation, jurisprudence and application of precedence
- In providing advice on policies and procedures
- In preparing training programs
- In conducting presentations
- In preparing contracts, correspondence, and reports
- In budget administration
- In personnel administration
- In business and strategic planning
- In managing a complaint process
- In interpreting and applying legislations, policies, procedures, and regulations
