The Senior Human Resources Business Partner is a key member of the CHRO’s leadership team and participates in the senior leadership forums in The Integrated Care Solutions business. He/She is well versed on HR best practices as well as an astute business member who employs solutions that affect business performance. The incumbent participates in key strategic and operational discussions and decisions on human resources issues, priorities, systems, processes, performance indicators and budgets. The Senior HR BP manages the business partner relationship to create the people strategy for the division in addition to collaborating with the Human Resources Centre of Expertise on advancing the company-wide people agenda. The Senior HR BP also manages a team of HR professionals that cover the broad spectrum of HR disciplines such as performance management, recruitment and employee experience. 

Key Responsibilities

Primary responsibility includes serving as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leaders, balancing compassion, and toughness in coaching others and translating the business priorities into compelling people strategies that help us achieve our business goals and vision of delivering on our promise to employees. Key areas of focus:

Strategic Advice and Counsel: Provide strategic advice and counsel to the senior leadership team and will be accountable for providing recommendations to the Community of Expertise (COE) on key programs including talent planning, succession planning as well as support key business driven talent initiatives and annual HR Cycle programs. 

Align People Strategies to the Business Objectives: Consult and translate business needs into HR strategies that support the achievement of business goals and objectives. 

Workforce/Talent Planning: Establish a plan to ensure the business has the right mix of talent and employment models to reach current and future needs. This includes facilitating talent roundtables across the division to identify emerging talent and following through on development and succession planning. 

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility: In collaboration with the Chief Diversity Officer, support the launch of our DEIA three-year strategy, which includes creating awareness and developing action plans to address any barriers to inclusion. 

Compensation Design: Support the review and potential redesign of compensation programs ensuring that our compensation is both fair and competitive and that our incentive compensation is incenting the right behaviors and outcomes. Support the business leaders as we transition to a “Pay for Performance” culture, which includes developing the change management plan for the Integrated Care Solutions divisional objectives.

Steward of Organizational Culture: Provide assistance and support and cultivate the organizational culture, advocating organizational values and effective leadership. 

Operational Effectiveness and Efficiency: Share information, observations and learnings with partners and colleagues in manner intended to drive continuous improvement and operational effectiveness across the company. 

Change Management : Make the case for change, through a deep understanding of how people experience change and is able to craft a change management plan that will (1) increase adoption and advocacy (2) have a positive impact on the customer and employee experience as well as meet business goals. 

Employee Experience and Engagement : Understand the drivers of engagement and in collaboration with the business leaders and the COE, develops strategies and action plans aimed at optimizing engagement and the employee experience. 

Employee and Labor Relations : In partnership with the Director, Employee and Labour Relations, oversee all ER and Labor related issues in ways that foster an inclusive and collaborative workplace. 

Data and Analytics : Lead the analysis of HR and Business metrics to gain insight from various data sources and leverage trends to support proactive decision making. Diagnose problems, identify appropriate solutions, influence business leaders with data-driven recommendations to drive change. 

Lead a team of HR professionals across the spectrum of HR disciplines, which include, performance management, recruitment, and employee experience. 

The ideal candidate for this position will possess a strong business acumen as well as deep experience across all dimensions of Human Resources.

Work Location : Markham , Mississauga ( Hybrid) . This role includes travel to within the Province to units in Integrated Care Solutions. 

Education and Experience

•    8+ Years of progressive HR experience across multiple HR disciplines 
•    Undergraduate degree ( Master's preferred) in Business/Human Resources or Pychology
•    CHRL Designation preferred 
•    Bilingual (French/English) would be an asset
•    Experience working in a unionized and non-unionized environment 
•    Knowledge of the HealthCare sector would be an asset
•    Ability to consult, impact and influence at senior levels
•    Excellent communication skills (listening, verbal, written, presentation preparation and delivery, and facilitation) 
•    Demonstrated leadership skills and experience working on highly confidential and sensitive business matters with executive leaders.
•    Exceptional judgment and ability to solve problems that often may set precedent
•    Ability to learn/adapt/be resilient in a high growth business environment
•    Good relationship management capability and skill at collaborating 
•    Proven, progressive experience and demonstrated effectiveness developing HR Strategies 
•    Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and interface effectively with all levels of the organization
•    Be a team player with the ability to manage multiple projects/multi-sites
 

Compensation
The company is offering a highly competitive compensation package, comprised of base salary, annual performance bonus and a car allowance.
