Globotech is currently looking for a Recruitment Specialist, with outstanding communication skills, who possesses excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills. This position reports to the Human Resources Supervisor. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, where change and collaboration are constant factors, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong business acumen with proven ability to manage multiple recruitment portfolios simultaneously
- Mange full cycle recruitment including sourcing, qualifying, interviewing, presentation, selection, and administrative components
- Identify candidates through relevant vendors or through utilization of search engines on LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter
- Communicate with Independent contractors for contractual offers
- Schedule and perform orientations and update records for new staff
- Ensure the recruitment process is completed in an efficient and professional manner within set turnaround time
- Build strong working relationships with managers and help identify potential talent and opportunities at an early stage
- Maintain, track and update candidate portfolios on Resource Allocation and lead the weekly Resource Meetings
- Attend virtual career fairs and other industry events as required • Assist Human Resources department with all other duties as required
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- Successful completion of post-secondary education in Human Resources is preferred
- Two (2) years minimum of recruitment experience is required
- Experience in engineering industry is considered an asset
- Experience in nuclear industry is considered an asset
- CHRL, CHRL or CHRE designation is considered an asset
- Knowledge of applicable employment legislation in The Ontario Human Rights Code, Employment Equity Act
- An action orientated mind-set, high energy level and willing to take the lead
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and an ability to produce quality results in a timely manner
- Eligible for a Site Access Security Clearance at Canadian nuclear sites
