Thank you for your interest in the Senior HR Systems Representative term position with the York Region District School Board. This position is effective September 1, 2022 and ending on August 31, 2023.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To complete regular production tasks, including running scheduled/cyclical reports and finalizing/verifying work produced before distribution to users.
- To manage and update the records retention process, including coordinating storage of applicable file and documents, tracking of records transfer list (RTL) and employee files, file requests and coordinating the summer culling process.
- To coordinate and track the department computer equipment replacement program, including monitoring replacement periods, placing computer orders, reconciling product received, distributing computers and the tracking of asset tags.
- To assist in the review and updating of data set up/table updates in our HR systems.
- To conduct annual audits on position set up within HR systems to ensure system integrity and update accordingly.
- To support the appraisal process including the management of the Mval override table, and respond to school/administrator requests and training HRS staff for data entry requirements.
- To assist with cyclical processes and procedures as assigned by an HR Analyst.
- To assist with user acceptance testing for version changes or new system processes.
- To assist in the creation of documents related to HR user manuals and system guides.
- To provide support and guidance to HR users on the various HR applications, including assisting in training workshops and presentations.
- To attend meetings and participate in committees, as required.
- To perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- A two year post-secondary college diploma in human resources management, business or a related discipline is required.
- Minimum of three years of human resource or related experience is required.
- A solid understanding of administrative practices related to HR systems (preferably HRP and emPath) is required.
- Effective verbal and written communication, analytical, organizational and computer skills are required.
