Position Summary: Under the direction of the manager, responsible for the day-to-day duties of human resources including, but not limited to, monthly reports, Recruit and selection activities internally and externally, investigation, attendance reporting
Position Responsibilities:
· Ensures consistent administration of policies/procedures and programs in order to maintain a union free environment
· Perform special projects in support of the organizations business objectives.
· Responsible for conflict resolution, associate investigations, and all counselling in cooperation with HR manager
· Assists in absenteeism reporting, turnover, associate leaves, and reports
· Participates in development of Human Resources Business Plan and goals
· Internal and external recruitment activities
· Information resource for supervisors and management members
· All associate exit interviews
· Liaison with managers, supervisor and associates to facilitate communication and HR function and benefits
· Other duties as required
Qualifications:
· Post-secondary education in a related field.
· Minimum 1-3 years HR experience in non-unionized manufacturing environment preferred.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office computer software and HRIS systems.
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills.
· Must maintain highest level of confidentiality.
Work Environment:
· Primarily office environment. May be required to walk in plant occasionally.
