The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is Canada's largest mental health teaching hospital and one of the world's leading research centres in its field. CAMH is fully affiliated with the University of Toronto and is a Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization Collaborating Centre.

With a dedicated staff of more than 4,000 physicians, clinicians, researchers, educators and support staff, CAMH offers outstanding clinical care to more than 37,000 patients each year. The organization conducts ground-breaking research, provides expert training to health care professionals and scientists, develops innovative health promotion and prevention strategies, and advocates on public policy issues at all levels of government. And through our Foundation, we're working to raise tens of millions of additional dollars to fund new programs and research and augment services.

Through its core values of Courage, Respect and Excellence, CAMH is implementing its Strategic Plan: One CAMH (2020-2023), supporting a purposeful and connected journey toward realizing their vision of ‘Health Redefined’.

Reporting to the President and CEO, the Vice President, People & Experience is a valued member of the CAMH Executive Leadership Team, providing strategic and operational leadership to the organization in all matters relating to human resources. The Vice President, People & Experience plays a vital role in supporting and advancing CAMH’s values-based, inclusive culture by ensuring that human resource management practices are aligned with the strategic directions and values of the organization.

With a record of accomplishment in senior HR leadership positions, ideally in a healthcare setting, the successful candidate will possess exemplary leadership, interpersonal skills, and an unwavering commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion and anti-racism. A Master’s degree in Human Resources, Health or Business Administration or equivalent is required and a CHRP accreditation or equivalent professional designation is preferred.
