TORONTO GRACE HEALTH CENTRE: JOIN OUR TEAM!
The Toronto Grace Health Centre (TGHC) provides specialized care and services to individuals who require Complex Continuing Care, Post-Acute Care Rehabilitation, Palliative Care, Wound Care, Respiratory Therapy, and Transitional & Remote Care. The care and services provided at TGHC helps facilitate patient flow through the health care system and ensures recovery so our patients can return to their homes or to Long Term Care (LTC) facilities in their communities.
Position Summary of Responsibilities:
In this newly created position, the incumbent will be hands on, reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, while working closely with the HR and leadership teams. This role will be responsible for full cycle recruitment and help create sourcing strategies that enhance the employment brand and develop a pipeline of qualified candidates.
Other responsibilities include: maintaining trackers, various metrics, drafting job postings, conducting interviews, preparing offer letters, and serving as a liaison between candidates and hiring managers. Qualifications:
- University degree related to human resources management OR a combination of relevant education and recent work experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a recruitment capacity supporting union and non-union environments, full cycle recruitment
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is an asset
- Skilled at behavioural based interviewing and other selection techniques
- Demonstrated experience in developing successful recruitment strategies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and results orientation
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work effectively, manage work load and meet deadlines in a busy environment
- Ability to recognize, handle and protect highly sensitive and confidential information.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Employment Standards Act, Ontario Human Rights Code other applicable legislation Proficient in the use of a variety of software packages (ie. Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and social media platforms Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn
- Excellent attendance record, ability to work onsite 5 days a week (with flexibility as needed)
