RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION SUPERVISOR

PLASP Child Care Services is a charitable organization operating on a not-for-profit basis, providing high quality early learning and child care, for children up to 12 years of age. PLASP operates programs in more than 240 schools providing before and after school care. PLASP also operates 31 full-day early learning and child care centres and 6 EarlyON locations for children from 0 – 6 years.

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager of Operations, the Recruitment and Selection Supervisor will provide leadership, direction and supervision to the Recruitment and Onboarding team to assist with the management of all PLASP internal and external recruitment. 

 

THE POSITION INVOLVES…

The successful candidate will provide a full range of duties, including:

  • Provide leadership, direction, and support to the Recruitment and Selection and Onboarding team
  • Receive and reviews all Head Office Recruitment request and reviews/ seeks approval with HR Management team
  • Works with recruitment team on development of job postings and recruitment timelines for postings
  • Works closely with recruitment team on all recruitment documents; including interview guidelines, materials and employment condition documents
  • Conducts full recruitment process for complex PLASP positions
  • Seeks out career fairs and marketing of employment opportunities for PLASP
  • Conducts detailed data analysis on recruitment and onboarding reporting and statistic
  • Ensure continuous hiring strategies are in place to meet the recruitment demands of the organization

 

 

THE PREFERRED CANDIDATE WILL HAVE…

  • Successful completion of Human Resources Management Post Graduate diploma
  • CHRL Designation an assets
  • 5 years of complete recruitment and selection cycle management
  • Minimum of 3 Years of supervisory experience of a team
  • Strong knowledge of Recruitment and Selection and HR best practices
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills      
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge and usage of an Applicant Tracking System
  • Strong computer skills, applications and database management    
  • Awareness of the need for and respect of confidentiality
  • Self-motivated, flexible and able to accept increased responsibility with minimal supervision
