Responsibilities:
Supporting the Coordinator of Human Resources, the role of Human Resources Assistant will encompass all facets of human resources including salary administration, leaves of absence, maintenance of HRIS, job postings, orientation of new staff, and responding to inquiries. The Human Resources Assistant will also provide backup support for the automated dispatch system.
Qualifications:
- Secondary school graduation diploma, supported with a relevant community college diploma; Minimum three (3) years related experience in an equivalent role. Strong customer service focus with an equally strong work ethic with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines; Excellent organizational, and superior interpersonal and communication skills are combined with the need for attention to detail and accuracy; Ability to handle confidential information with tact and discretion; Demonstrated ability to excel in a team environment but also self-directed and can work independently with minimum supervision; Demonstrated competency with use of computers and a variety of software applications including HRIS.
