Make a  Future – Careers in BC Education is about to embark on a Ministry-funded recruitment and retention project to attract minority Francophone teachers, French immersion and French as a second language teachers to British Columbia’s public schools.

 

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategic Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition & Marketing Manager is responsible for executing the Provincial French Teacher Recruitment and Marketing Campaign, the education sector’s effort to attract qualified minority Core French, French immersion, and French as a second language teachers to British Columbia.

 

The Talent Acquisition & Marketing Manager will be at the centre of various strategic activities to brand and promote BC education as an employment destination for Canadian teachers. Working closely with the Digital Marketing Specialist and agency partners, the Talent Acquisition & Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and delivering upon three key activities in the province’s strategy. This includes project managing the development of a French teacher microsite, launching a public relations campaign, and engaging in digital marketing and lead generation strategies to attract candidates and grow BC’s French teacher candidate pool.

 

We are looking for an experienced talent acquisition, recruitment specialist or educational leader with first-hand experience recruiting French-speaking candidates. In addition to excellent project management and communications skills, you should also be able to exercise diplomacy and independent judgement on many issues, and work effectively with various partners and stakeholders.

 

Your qualifications include a post-secondary degree or diploma in human resources or a related field. With five or more years of relevant professional experience, you have demonstrated the ability to effectively manage and coordinate digital marketing and recruitment campaigns. Experience working in the public education sector is an asset and French fluency is required.
