Responsibilities
Human Resources Administration & Communication
- Assist with the implementation of operational projects and recurring annual activities such as salary review, incentive compensation calibration, talent review cycles in the 15Five system, employee file audits and all other ad-hoc HR housekeeping activities
- Work collaboratively across multiple departments and be the HR liaise between payroll, IT, and other support teams
- Monitor the HR inbox and provide timely responses to employee requests and inquiries, research answers, and escalate sensitive issues to the Director when necessary
- Create employee documents, including Employment Agreements and employee letters related to compensation or job changes
- Support with drafting and sharing internal employee communications for employee changes (e.g., new hires, departures, etc.)
- Post resources to the company intranet site (SharePoint)
- Create and deliver monthly Time Off reports for managers
Reporting & Dayforce
- Assist in maintaining HR data integrity and accuracy in the Human Resources Information System – Dayforce
- Complete data entry into Dayforce in relation to job changes, compensation changes, leaves of absence, etc.
- Provide guidance, direction, and support to employee inquiries related to the Dayforce recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, time off requests, leaves of absence, payroll, and benefits administration
- Work with internal and external partners to launch updates and projects in Dayforce
- Prepare ad hoc and scheduled people metrics reports for internal partners and senior leaders. Analyze data, to draw meaningful conclusions
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage the full cycle recruitment and ensure job postings, screening, and interview scheduling are completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Manage job requisitions within the Applicant Tracking System in the HRIS (Ceridian Dayforce) to ensure job descriptions are up to date and posted to appropriate job sites
- Use LinkedIn and various recruitment tools and techniques to source and attract top talent
- Coordinate the scheduling and booking of interviews
- Coordinate onboarding of new employees; includes compliance with regulations, procedures, and programs (i.e., systems access, benefits, payroll, etc.)
- Facilitate the orientation and integration of new hires

- Technical Knowledge – Must have a firm grasp on technology tools used for HR reporting and data analytics. Good working knowledge of a range of HR functions (HR, payroll, benefits, talent, etc.) and how they interrelate.

- Collaboration & Teamwork – Strong aptitude to work with internal partners to coordinate and execute a seamless and exceptional hiring and onboarding experience for new employees.

Requirements:
- 1-3 years of HR experience, or related administrative experience in the finance industry is preferred
- University Degree in Human Resources, Business, or another related field
- Highly proficient /Intermediate in Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel (Comfortable using: V LOOK UP, Pivot Tables, Charts and Graphs)
- Knowledge and understanding of employment legislation, HR policies and HR best practices
- Proficient knowledge of Ceridian Dayforce or a similar HRIS system and employee database software
- HR Certification/ CHRP Designation or working towards one is consider an asset
- Experience creating HR Dashboards would be considered an asset
