Job Description
- Develop and execute HR strategies to attract, develop, retain and fully leverage the talent needed to support the business.
- Lead full cycle recruitment and onboarding for multiple divisions nationally.
- Build relationships with business leaders to become a trusted HR advisor.
- Provide strategic and operational support in performance management, progressive discipline, recruitment and employee relations.
- Execute core HR processes, including talent review, annual salary review, variable pay programs, and performance management up to and including termination.
- Manage HR reports and utilize data to make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Apply project management methodologies and change management principles to effectively lead and/or support key HR projects
- Liaise with the HR Service organization for payroll and HR transactional support.
- Work effectively in a team environment as well as have ability to work self-directed, making independent decisions that may be complex in nature.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in an HR Business Partner or Generalist role.
- CHRP/CHRL professional certification preferred
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate business goals into HR strategy.
- Strategic mindset with proven ability to influence key stakeholders in multiple divisions and corporate cultures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and work through people.
- Solid understanding of HR management practices and employment legislation.
- Self-starter who is flexible and able to take initiative. Able to work within a dynamic, fast-paced highly matrixed organization.
- Strong prioritization, organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A high level of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality are essential.
- Process oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Excellent English language skills in both verbal and written communication.
- French language skills are an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
