Job Description

  • Develop and execute HR strategies to attract, develop, retain and fully leverage the talent needed to support the business. 
  • Lead full cycle recruitment and onboarding for multiple divisions nationally.
  • Build relationships with business leaders to become a trusted HR advisor.
  • Provide strategic and operational support in performance management, progressive discipline, recruitment and employee relations.
  • Execute core HR processes, including talent review, annual salary review, variable pay programs, and performance management up to and including termination.
  • Manage HR reports and utilize data to make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Apply project management methodologies and change management principles to effectively lead and/or support key HR projects
  • Liaise with the HR Service organization for payroll and HR transactional support.
  • Work effectively in a team environment as well as have ability to work self-directed, making independent decisions that may be complex in nature.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in an HR Business Partner or Generalist role.
  • CHRP/CHRL professional certification preferred
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate business goals into HR strategy.
  • Strategic mindset with proven ability to influence key stakeholders in multiple divisions and corporate cultures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and work through people.
  • Solid understanding of HR management practices and employment legislation.
  • Self-starter who is flexible and able to take initiative.  Able to work within a dynamic, fast-paced highly matrixed organization.
  • Strong prioritization, organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A high level of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality are essential.
  • Process oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Excellent English language skills in both verbal and written communication. 
  • French language skills are an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
