Human Resource Manager

Encore Drywall Material Supplies is a leading provider of high quality drywall materials and supplies.  We pride ourselves on timely deliveries and exceptional customer service.  We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HR Manager to join our team.  The successful applicant will be able to hit the ground running, bring strategic thinking to drive HR initiatives, enhance employee engagement and ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws. 

Key Responsibilities 

-Develop and implement HR strategies, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and development.

-Oversee recruitment, selection and onboarding process to attract top talent and manage performance processes for our employees.

-Act as a point of contact for employees and management while aiding in resolving issues in a fair, consistent manner and focusing on a culture of safety and respect.

-Ensure compliance with all labor laws and WSIB regulations.

-Oversee all aspects of labor relations, including collective bargaining where applicable.

-Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance professional growth.

-Manage the administration of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring we are competitive.  

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience

Strong knowledge base in HR and proven leadership 

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
