The Director, Talent and Culture is a newly created role and will appeal to someone who thrives when presented with a blank slate and who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves when needed. They will design, develop and lead the activities of Talent and Culture within the organization, amplifying the organization’s mission and ensuring legal compliance. This role is perfect for someone with roughly 10 years of related experience who is ready to take ownership of a company’s end-to-end Talent and Culture function.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with leadership to align Talent and Culture work with the goals of the organization, with a particular focus on recruiting, employee engagement, learning & development, and performance management
- Researches and develops competitive compensation, benefits and incentive programs.
- Designs, develops and implements all Talent and Culture policies, processes, and training
- Identifies staffing needs and implements best practices for hiring and talent management.
- Ensures compliance with employment laws and regulations, and updates policies as needed.
- Uses data to evaluate organizational success and market competitiveness; actively listens to employees and maintains regular communication to understand their needs and concerns.
- Stays updated on trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in Talent and Culture; uses this knowledge to make changes and evolve policies, practices, and resources.
Compensation
- Competitive salary offered ($110-120K annually)

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least ten years of human resource management experience required.
- Innovation, leadership, business acumen, influence and personal accountability
- Emotional intelligence, conflict resolution and change management
- Excellent time and project management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
