Bartels Group Inc. is seeking an experienced and proficient HR Specialist to support our various business units by providing comprehensive human resources services, including employee relations, performance management, and policy guidance.

JOB DETAILS:
Status: Full-Time, Permanent, Salaried
Hours: Office Hours (Monday – Friday)
Working Conditions: Office-based with occasional off-site visits
Location: 101-1343 Sandhill Dr, Ancaster, ON
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive human resources experience, preferably in construction, agricultural, or mechanical industries
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, or a related field
- CHRL designation considered an asset
- Proficient in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven conflict resolution, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Able to work independently with minimal direction, handle multiple requests, and meet deadlines under pressure
- Available for occasional off-site visits and flexible with work schedule to meet business needs
WE ARE LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO:
- Partner effectively with business units to assess and meet short and long-term HR needs
- Provide strategic HR support, including employee relations, performance management, and policy guidance
- Develop and implement HR projects, policies, and documents such as the Employee Handbook and HR reports
- Exhibit strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing employee records and HR databases
- Demonstrate excellent time management, organization, and judgment when dealing with sensitive and confidential information
- Adapt to changing needs and tasks within the role as they arise, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and objectives
- Collaborate with business partners to develop talent plans and support change management strategies
- Maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity when representing Bartels Group Inc. in all dealings with employees, customers, and stakeholders
